Skubis
Emergency health education app
Skubis is a mobile application for emergency first aid education and resuscitation guidance developed for the Kaunas City Municipality Public Health Office. The project covers application design and visual identity, focused on making critical medical knowledge clear, accessible, and actionable in high stress situations, especially for young users.

Client and Collaboration Overview
We collaborated with Pixel Studio and the Kaunas City Municipality Public Health Office to design both the application interface and its visual identity. The work was grounded in real educational and public health scenarios, including use by pupils, students, and city residents. Design decisions were evaluated through usability, trust, and speed of comprehension. The collaboration balanced public sector responsibility with contemporary mobile UX standards. The identity was designed as a system that supports future feature growth, animation, and content expansion.

Project Objectives
The main objective was to create a youth oriented identity that feels calm, understandable, and trustworthy in emergency contexts. The logo system needed to support motion and in app animation. A clear and consistent icon system was required for fast information scanning and decision support. Another goal was to structure complex medical content through intuitive interface patterns. Accessibility, visual clarity, and emotional balance were essential design criteria.
Project Outcomes
We designed a character based logo constructed from modular elements, allowing flexible use and future animation. A cohesive set of 20 icons was created to support consistent navigation and quick recognition across the application. The colour system is built around green and blue tones to convey calm and stability, with red orange reserved strictly for alerts and critical actions. The identity supports maps, educational content, videos, surveys, and interactive learning tools. The final result is a functional, scalable, and approachable visual system tailored for public health education and mobile use.
