Sotro

Dynamic Brand System

SOTRO is a bistro and café located in Vilnius University Hospital, combining healthy food culture with innovation driven activities. The brand identity was designed as a dynamic system reflecting culinary experimentation, movement, and adaptability. The visual language supports both daily food experiences and broader initiatives beyond gastronomy. The identity operates across physical, digital, and institutional environments. It balances creativity with clarity in a complex context.

Client collaboration

We worked closely with SOTRO to design a flexible brand system that remains recognisable across multiple use cases. The collaboration focused on translating everyday culinary experiments, hospital context, real estate projects, and medical innovation initiatives into a unified visual logic. Together, we explored modular layouts, adaptive logo configurations, and scalable digital applications. Design decisions were grounded in real spatial and operational constraints. The process prioritised usability, recognisability, and human centred design.

Project objectives

To create a dynamic and modular identity system adaptable to vertical, horizontal, and square formats. To express movement, creativity, and innovation while maintaining visual consistency. To integrate graphic elements inspired by tastes, flavours, and the hospital interior environment. To support brand recognition across diverse activities beyond food services. To ensure scalability and clarity across physical and digital platforms.

Project outcomes

We designed a dynamic logo system supported by an identity builder that preserves recognisability through consistent shapes, typography, and colour logic. Modular square elements create a sense of movement and variation, symbolising different tastes and experimental approaches. The system performs reliably across signage, digital media, and physical materials. The identity allows controlled flexibility without losing coherence. We also created the brand name SOTRO and secured a short, clear web address to support future digital expansion.
